Industrial Ventilation Systems

Supply and extract ventilation engineered to control heat, humidity, fumes and air quality across industrial spaces.

Industrial ventilation is a balance problem: what is extracted has to be replaced. We design supply and extract as one system so that pressure inside the building stays controlled and airflow moves in the intended direction.

Systems range from general dilution ventilation across a factory floor to localised extraction at a specific process, including car park ventilation and plant room cooling.

Typical applications

  • Production and assembly halls
  • Process areas with heat or fume generation
  • Car parks and basements
  • Plant rooms, generator rooms and switch rooms
  • Storage and packing areas

Engineered as a complete air path.

  1. 01

    Air change assessment

Required air changes per hour are established from the process and occupancy.

  2. 02

    Supply / extract balance

Extract and make-up air volumes are matched to control building pressure.

  3. 03

    Fan selection

Fans are selected at the calculated duty point including system resistance.

  4. 04

    Commissioning

Measured airflow is checked against design and adjusted.

  • Controlled internal temperature and humidity
  • Removal of fumes, odours and airborne contaminants
  • Balanced pressure so doors and airflow behave predictably
  • Better working conditions and equipment life

Common questions.

How many air changes does my facility need?
It depends on the process, heat load and occupancy. We establish the figure during the site assessment rather than applying a generic number.
Can ventilation be added without stopping production?
In most cases installation can be phased or scheduled around shift patterns. This is agreed before work starts.
