Cylindrical & Axial Fans
Axial fans move large volumes of air against comparatively low resistance, which makes them the efficient choice for general ventilation, car parks, roof extraction and wall mounted supply.
Ranges include cylindrical cased axial fans with external motors, low-profile plate mounted units, acoustically lined axial cabinets and bifurcated fans that isolate the motor from the air stream for hot or contaminated duty.
Typical applications
- General factory and warehouse ventilation
- Car park and basement ventilation
- Wall and roof mounted extraction
- High-temperature air streams
- Smoke and heat extraction duty
Engineered as a complete air path.
- 01
Volume-led selection
Fan chosen for large volume at the system's low pressure requirement.
- 02
Casing type
Cylindrical, plate mounted, cabinet or bifurcated casing to suit installation.
- 03
Motor position
Motor placed outside the air stream where temperature or contamination requires.
- 04
Balancing
Dynamically balanced impellers reduce vibration and extend bearing life.
- High airflow with low energy consumption
- Compact installation in walls, roofs and duct runs
- Versions for continuous high-temperature operation
- Corrosion resistant construction options

Common questions.
- Can axial fans be used for kitchen exhaust?
- Only on short, low-resistance runs. Grease-laden exhaust with long duct runs is normally handled by centrifugal or cabinet fans.
- What is a bifurcated fan?
- The motor sits in a separate compartment outside the air stream, allowing the fan to handle hot or contaminated air continuously.
